Hi Hayley,
Thanks so much for your email! Happy New Year to you too. Sounds like you have an excited adventure planned. When I travel I move around a lot, often staying in a new hostel every night, so I often use a backpack. It's easier to be mobile (and walk up steps) with a bag strapped to my back. Sounds like you might be staying in one place for a while...so in that case, a suitcase might be best. It's often hard to leave your favorite outfits behind, but I'd advice to pack light, versatile clothing. Plus, the shopping in London is pretty great? Have a great time!!

Hi Julia,

Happy New Year! I love the show, Word Travels!! I find it relative and fresh. I also love the music the show uses as well. Anywho, I'm about to move to the UK this month. (It's been a well thought out process...and I finally have the guts to do it now!) I have 2 suitcases to pack and this week I'm going through all my possessions to see what makes the cut in accompanying me to England.

Question: How do you decide which clothes to bring with you when you're off traveling and can only bring a suitcase, or a huge backpack? Any suggestions? Thanks Julia!
