Girls Getaways: Where to Travel With Your Fave Ladies

In the early 1980s, Cindy Lauper sang the undeniable truth. “When the working day is done, oh girls, they wanna have fu-un. Oh girls, Just wanna have fun…” When planning a vacation with your favorite girlfriends, mothers and sisters, deciding on a destination that fits everyone’s interests can be a bit of a challenge. But fear not! There’s hope! Pushing beyond the traditional, here are a few out-of-the-box ideas for a wild, fun and fabulous ‘just us girls’ weekend.

1- Spa at The Hotel Hershey:

Wrangle up your favorite chocoholics for a hard-core day of girl-power pampering. Located in Pennsylvania ‘s Hotel Hershey, a landmark resort destination built in the 1930s, the Chocolate Spa offers a ton of sweet-tooth themed treatments. Start the day with a soothing foaming chocolate milk bath, followed by an exfoliating Chocolate Bean Polish, and a detoxifying Chocolate Dipped Strawberry treatment (a signature body treatment that pairs the Strawberry Parfait Scrub with the Chocolate Fondue Wrap). Overdose on chocolate – without the calories. http://www.chocolatespa.com

2- Ride at Cowgirl Boot Camp:

Release your inner cowgirl in coastal California’s Santa Ynez Valley.  The Alisal Guest Ranch and Resort, a 10,000-acre working cattle ranch smack in the heart of California’s Santa Barbara Wine Country, offers the chance to be a real wrangler in the “Cowgirl Bootcamp” packages. This all-inclusive women’s only weekend retreat teaches wannabe Annie Oakleys to saddle up and horseback ride across some fifty miles of trails. Trotting around Alisal Lake, cowgirls may also learn the wild western art of line-dancing, archery, fishing, hat shaping and barrel racing. Giddy up! 3 -Go Wine Tasting with the Women in Your Life:

It’s a scientific fact. A crisp, chilled Chardonnay tastes better when you’re drinking it in Napa Valley, the famed wine-growing region in Central California, perched elegantly in the back of a classic convertible. Classic Convertible Wine Tours offers customized tours to small boutique wineries via a luxurious 1947 Packard limo. For your girls’ trip, get chauffeured in style, taste some of the world’s best wines and picnic hillside overlooking picturesque vineyards. http://ccwinetours.com

4- Ride a Harley Across Country:

Are your girlfriends born to be wild? Take-on the open road and ride a Harley-Davidson across America with Eaglerider, a company offering guided motorcycle tours around the world. Beyond their traditional trips along Route 66, Eaglerider also offers a special five-day all-women’s adventure called the “No Boys Allowed Motorcycle Tour.” Ride some 550 miles, journeying along cacti-lined desert highways, through giant rock formations and Joshua Tree National Park, to the resort town of Palm Springs, California. Going to Las Vegas! You have missed that. Las Vegas is not only for the guys. A girl can have lots of fun in the city that never sleeps! I went there with 2 of my friends and we booked our hotel from – http://www.reservationcounter…. and it was party time for 3 days. We were so tired at the end but was our best experience together.
